Casa do Rio 01

Set against the natural landscape of Arcos de Valdevez, this villa explores the interplay of contrasts to create spaces with a distinctive identity and atmosphere. The project was conceived to strengthen the connection with the nearby river and surrounding environment, bringing a sense of balance between nature and contemporary living.

Contrasting materials, textures and tones were carefully combined to introduce depth and character throughout the interiors. Each space was designed as a unique experience, while maintaining a coherent visual language that unifies the house as a whole. The result is a warm and expressive home where contrast becomes the defining element of the design.
